Ostraryka is a small kennel producing Belgian Malinois with real drive, clear heads and sound bodies. Based in the Czech Republic, our dogs go to sport, police, military and serious working homes across Europe and worldwide.

Our philosophy

What we breed for

A Malinois should be a serious working dog first. Every pairing is chosen for the whole package, not one trait.

Drive

High prey and hunt drive, strong food drive and a natural grip. Dogs that want to work and keep wanting to.

Nerve

Stable temperament, environmental confidence and the ability to switch off. Power with control.

Health

Hips, elbows and spine evaluated. DNA-tested where it matters. We breed only dogs we would keep ourselves.

Workability

Biddable, clear in the head, fast to learn. Our dogs are titled or working before they are bred.

About the kennel

Small kennel, serious dogs

Ostraryka is a family-run kennel built around a handful of carefully chosen dogs. We don't breed often, and we don't breed for the pet market. Every litter is planned around a goal: produce Malinois that can do the job, whether that job is IGP, ring sport, detection or patrol work.

Our dogs come from proven European working lines. Breeding stock is health-tested, temperament-evaluated and trained or titled before being used. Puppies are raised in the house and on the field, with early neurological stimulation, environmental exposure and a lot of hands-on time.
